# Whale Alerts

Whale Alerts notify you when someone buys or sells a rune for more than the USD amount you choose.

## Turning it on

1. Open **🐋 Whale Alerts** from the main menu.
2. Tap **Enable**.
3. Choose a threshold (e.g. `$1,000`, `$5,000`, `$10,000`).

That's it. From now on every buy or sell above your threshold will land in your chat as a notification.

## What an alert looks like

```
🐋 Whale BUY
Token:   <ticker>
Volume:  $<usd>
Wallet:  <trading address>
TX:      <transaction id>
```

Each alert includes buttons that link to the trade on Radfi, the transaction in a Bitcoin explorer, and the wallet's profile.

## Turning it off

Open **🐋 Whale Alerts** and tap **Enable** again to switch it off. Alerts stop right away.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://boundautotrades.gitbook.io/boundautotrades-docs/en/modules/whale-alerts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
